The
existing stadium, comprising several stands varying in size
and several secondary structures, was unified into a single
composition by partial demolitions and covering of seats. The
structural system comprises a series of cantilevered projecting
roofs spanning 15 metres that are covered by arches of self-bearing
metal spanning 9 metres each. Management and press centre, built
using light prefabricated materials, functions like a floating
box and - positioned on the axis of the stadium - serves as
a visual anchor in the circular movement of floating canopies.
