Dinos Naklo Recycling Facility is located at the edge of Naklo industrial zone. The largest complex of its type in this part of Europe, its purpose is extraction of raw materials via recycling of various waste elements such as cars, household appliances and furniture. Technological process includes collecting, rough and fine grinding and raw materials sorting via various mechanical, magnetic and chemical processes. The complex comprises the main mechanical unit, located on a 30.000 sqm platform, two covered storage and manipulation structures for manual manipulation and a smaller office unit for management and workers support. Located on the entrance side of the complex, the two manipulation structures together with the office building visually separate the courtyard platform from surrounding area. Above the visible concrete base in manipulation height, their facades are covered with neutral dark metal. Principal facades facing the street are a combination of metal panels in various colours, a concept first introduced in the Dinos Ljubljana building. Given its position near open green areas, the colour scheme chosen corresponds with the natural sky-grass-wheat palette.
